The addition of a structure to the Kam school campus, in Ramat Ha'chayal, Tel Aviv. This is a 3 story building, with 6 classrooms, and 5 annexed classrooms which serve the students of the 5th and 6th grades. The new wing is built in similar dimensions to the old school structures, some of which are nearly sixty years old, but it is designed in a contemporary language. The modern design allows for a "new spirit" for the campus, and maintaining the existing construction in the main building. The "floating" roof of the structure creates tension between the new building and the existing administration building. The unique design creates one schoolyard, and on the other hand leaves room for activities in the intimate grove to the west. In addition, in continuation to the old school's red tiled roof, the new building continues the design language with a flat red roof which connects the two. An additional interesting feature of the roof is its protrusion from the façade line, so it prevents the sun from penetrating into the building during some of the hours in which the children are in the classrooms. The classrooms face an old grove from the west and by that tie the classroom with the greenery and the view.
