The new Canaan Spa Hotel project is located in the city of Safed, south of the mythical Canaan Spa Hotel and overlooks Mount Meron to the west. Creating the project concept invloved emphasizing the integration of construction in the mountainous natural topography and respecting the location and surrounding nature. The project contains a central structure that forms the public heart at the summit, from which descends a central path that branches off into alleys leading to about 150 low-tiered units that are assimilated into the environment and allow for maximum spectacular and interesting views. The location of the private pools is organically integrated with each other, while combining vineyards and green roofs that contribute to the location’s relaxed atmosphere. The inner alleys in the project flutter to the alleys of Safed that are rich in character and history, and yet have a modern and innovative luxurious character using natural and modern materials.
