STATUS: Planning
AREA: 50,000 Sq/m
FLOORS: 50
CLIENT: Gabay Grou
ABOUT:
On Highway 20 (Ayalon), a 50 story tower is being planned, which constitutes a unique element in the bustling urban landscape. Being designed to look like an angel with two wings wrapped around its body, this tower challenges the conventions of tower design in the Tel-Aviv skyline, and it constitutes a connection between softness and fortitude, biblical and modern, poetic and prosaic. The tower is being built on a plot owned by the Angel Group. The tower rises to a height of about 170 meters, with the first 40 floors allocated for employment whereas the 10 top floors will be used for residential purposes. In between, a sky-lobby will be added, which will serve the tower tenants. The design of the tower made use of computerized parameters, and its shaped façade was made from one coiled surface with two wings; The sky-lobby divides the mass vertically between the eastern higher wing, which contains housing at its top part, and the lower western wing, which completes the mass of the office building.
