ABOUT:
The Itzhak Navon Ha'uma Train Station is the end station of the Tel-Aviv – Jerusalem express line. The station is located in the heart of the "City Gate" project, next to the International Convention Center Buildings, between Jaffa Street and Shazar Boulevard. At this interface point, there are also the rest of the transportation means in Jerusalem – the Egged station, the light train stations from the north (the red line), the planned green line from the south, municipal transportation platforms which include busses, taxis, and private vehicles. In the upper structure, there are three main levels as well as sub-levels. The top structure is comprised of glass cubes through which natural light penetrates the station building.
