ABOUT:

A new concept for designing a school containing 24 classrooms, based on quality external classroom spaces, an elongated courtyard which ties the interior of the school with is northern part, and a contemporary design which includes a "hanged wing". The lot on which the school will be built is of 12 dunam, and the built area will spread over 4,040 Sq/M. A glass bridge will connect the western and eastern wing, with a red box in the center where various music, science and technology classes will take place. "The red box can infuse a feeling of disconnect and levitation with an interesting northern horizon," says architect Rami Shalit from the office in charge of the project, Miloslavsky Architects. The activity areas are covered by glass walls which symbolize transparency in education. In addition you are able to find thermal insulation, smart systems and green building, innovating air conditioning systems, a private yard for the teachers' lounge and a park rich with vegetation.
