ABOUT:
In the center of the Carmel in Haifa, stands the Mount Carmel Hotel, also known by its previous names, 'Megiddo Hotel' or 'Telech Hotel'. It is a modest and beautiful Bauhaus building, which has been abused over the years, and in recent years has stood as an abandoned 'white elephant' - a wound in the heart of the neighborhood. Now the building will receive the respect it deserves, when it undergoes a massive conservation process and is integrated into a quality assisted living project of about 300 housing units, a nursing department and the rest of the required services for assisted living. The project will provide a new life for the public spaces of the building, present the building and its values and return to take part in the urban fabric.
