STATUS: Completed in 2019
AREA: 6,400 Sq/m
CLIENT: Israel Railways
ABOUT:
The Savidor Station was designed in the 1950's by the architect Ossip Klarwein. In 2004 the station was renovated and changed due to the increase in the traffic of passengers, updating the security and safety, welfare and commerce needs. In 2012 an entrance hall was added to the station from the direction of the Moda'ee Bridge. In 2017 Israel Railways decided to improve and renovate the entrance to the station and the entrance hall, to increase the scope of passenger service areas and create a modern, efficient and attractive structure. The new passenger terminal is an important part of the express line to Jerusalem project. In the complex structure, which connects the urban level with the Ayalon ditch, current technologies were used to create an innovative and interesting design.
