ABOUT:

An elementary school of 18 classrooms, 3 floors. The concept of the structure speaks of movement and flow, and so does the school itself, which on the interior allows for flexibility to communal spaces and informal learning spaces, next to closed formal spaces. A great deal of investment was made in the design of the courtyard and deal with the topography, while integrating an elliptic grandstand. From here it is possible to see that it is planted into the ground so it bridges several levels and compensates for the complexity of the topography in the compound. Despite the fact it is comprised of 3 floors, the access to the courtyard is from both the ground level, as well as from the first floor, where there is a green balcony garden and an atrium space which is tall and intense. The combination of exposed concrete, dry wood-like hanging, aluminum, meet the standards of green building.
